HINGHAM

“Traditional but not my mother’s house.”

Our design team took this Hingham Shipyard townhouse from plain contractor finishes to a modern classic home. From the first floor entry to the third floor master bedroom, bold lighting complement the fine furnishings, selected art and accessories. Custom window treatments add warmth and functionality in the living spaces and textured upholstery and pillows add layers of color and pattern. The homeowner’s treasured grandfather clock and family portrait gallery added a personal touch in creating this retreat on the harbor.

NORWELL

“A chic room of my own that my girlfriends and I can relax in with a glass of wine, book club….whatever. I needed something finished.”

This sunny Norwell room gave our design team an opportunity to transform a multipurpose family space into a calming retreat for a busy professional mom. Casual twin sofas, striking navy slipper chairs and complementing benches provide ample seating atop a yellow and ivory zebrapatterned rug. Oversized lamps light up a collection of barware and a personal art collection adds to ‘finish’ this fresh and sophisticated room.

BOSTON

“We’re traditional but we need to update and add some fun.”

A Commonwealth Avenue gem in need of a thorough polish, we recommended a fresh color palette, wall coverings, lighting, window treatments, new bathrooms, and a kitchen makeover. Marble counter tops, hand-sculpted subway tiles, hand-stamped grass cloth and antique lighting added just the right dose of tradition. Modern fabrics and tasteful accents provided just the right amount of fun. Our design team was able to transform this tired dwelling into the timeless treasure it deserved to become.

SCITUATE

“We found this turn-of-the-century stove and it’s become our inspiration. Oh, and we need a place for our books.”

This 1930’s Dutch Colonial kitchen/dining room renovation started with the homeowner’s unique Brimfield find. Our design team guided the project forward with vintage lighting, stainless counter tops, authentic vintage wall coverings, an antique farm table and oak Hoosier cabinet. With modern appliances discreetly incorporated, this project blended new and vintage in a charming open space. Adding built-in floor-to- ceiling book boxes gave the homeowners ample room for their book collection!
